Hanoi Electromechanical Manufacturing Joint Stock Company (HEM) belonging Vietnam Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Corporation (GELEX), was established on 15/01/1961 and currently is a leading company in Vietnam in the field of manufacturing electric motors, transformers, generators and other electric technical equipment.Electro-mechanical Manufacturing Factory, forerunner of Hanoi Electro-mechanical Manufacturing Joint Stock Company (HEM), was established on January 15th, 1961 marking the the birth of the first electrical equipment factory in Vietnam. During the 58 years of establishment and development, Hanoi Electro-mechanical Manufacturing Joint Stock Company (HEM) has gradually grown with the increasing in scale of manufacturing, fields of operation and line of business.In 2009, the company equitized and transformed its operation model into a joint stock company according to Decision No. 1531 / QD-BCT dated 25 March 2009 and Decision No. 3013 / QD-BCT dated 15 March 2009 by Minister of Industry and Trade. By December 2015, the Company completed the equitization of enterprises and became a wholly privately owned enterprise. Especially, Hanoi Electromechanical Manufacturing Joint Stock Company (HEM) has been a leading company in manufacturing transformers with a capacity of 10- 10,000kVA, voltage up to 35kV, designed in accordance with standard IEC-76. Currently, Hanoi Electromechanical Manufacturing Joint Stock Company (HEM) is a company having the biggest synchronous production line for transformer casing, wave folding machine for transformer casing in Vietnam, automatically controlled for folding wave wings and sealing off the wave wings.
